Google Calender

Google offers a great Calender Tool that will assist in organization.


Another handy feature is the ability to share one's Calender with other people.

The calender can also send updates to mobile phones

Gmail is a great email client for many reasons.

  • Backup from other emails
  • organize that data
  • data stored offsite

It can also serve as a Chat client for real time communication


Functions can be added to gmail to allow for sms messaging.

Google Account: The key that opens the door

Creating a Google Account is relatively simple. Just follow the link from the main browser page or got to http://www.google.com/accounts/

*Security is an important part of creating an online account. Some things to remember.
  • Do not use last names or birthdays as passwords
  • Always use a combination of numbers and letters in a passwords
  • Never give password information to anyone, especially via chat.

Once an account has been created the tools will be available via the Accounts screen or the links on the top right-hand side of the browser screen.

Google: More than just a Search Engine

If you mention the name "Google" one thing pops directly into most people's mind, Search Engine. While it is true Google also provides a range of tools available free for anyone to use.

Another important aspect of these tools are that are available online, as long as there is access to the internet then these tools are available.
